Riyad Alli, also known by his stage name Riyality, is a hip-hop artist from Pickering, Ontario. He has been cultivating his musical skill since childhood while playing guitar, and began focusing on hip-hop in his teenage years. He was first started getting noticed with the release of his second visual effort That Way has developed him a local buzz in the Toronto scene and has been picked up by the prominent Canadian radio show “The Come Up Show” from Western University. Since then he has released visuals for his last single Crazy Sexy Cool and was selected to compete in Team Backpack MUNY in Brookyln, New York.
His buzz around Durham has also won him features in independent magazines like Wonderground Magazine and the Durham College/UOIT newspaper “The Chronicle”. Also, his first solo video Left To Lose, was picked up by a show called South Asian Dialogue on the Rogers television channel and still spins regularly to this day.
Riyality recognizes the importance of live performance in todays music industry and constantly hones his craft as well as building a versatile, energetic set. He has shared stages with Canadian musicians like Merkules, Classified, Swollen Members, Madchild, as well as American heavyweights such as Xzibit, Machine Gun Kelly and Tech N9ne.
Most recently, in September 2019; Riyality has released his debut EP “From The Ashes” which is now available on all streaming platforms.
